More March Photos

St. Patrick's Day meant wear green! And the boys have these very cute matching shirts that they got from Great Grandma Donna and Great Grandpa Ken for Christmas. Grace is wearing an outfit that her Aunts Sarah and Carrie wore. And the boys had to do goofy faces!

Daddy's Spring Break was earlier than Joshua's. One day we took the little ones for a walk. Nathaniel was so excited to push the stroller for a little while. We walked around the neighborhood and then down to the park where they had fun on the swings and slides.

Grace in her new high chair...3-12- & 3-13. We have a high chair that we used with both of the boys. It worked fine. But it didn't fold up. This one folds up. Not as compact as we might want, but it's better than the old one! Grace was very pleased to try it out. And then the next morning, she sat in it while we ate breakfast and got to try her first pancake...she thought that was pretty cool!

More milestones...

Grace hit the half-year mark on the 21st...she's growing so quickly!

She's been rolling all over the place...not crawling yet.

She sits up like a pro and is figuring how to kind of flop down on to her tummy so she can play.

And this afternoon, we discovered...THE FIRST TOOTH!! The boys are trying so hard to see it, but they can't because she keeps sticking her tongue in the way, but they heard it clink on a spoon and were satisfied with that for now.

Tomorrow she has her 6 month check-up. I'm thinking she's going to way in at about 17 pounds and probably be between 26 and 27 inchse long...we'll see how close I am :)

Sitting up and siblings...

Grace is getting better and better at this sitting up thing. Here are a few pictures of her sitting up on our bed (I grabbed a blanket to make a better backdrop this time).

And also are few pictures of Grace and Nathaniel...she just wanted to stare at him, so I got some cute pictures of the two of them looking at each other.

And of a course a couple of Nathaniel by himself.

I need to get some pictures of Joshua up here too...I just seem to take more pictures during the daytime when he's at school than in the evening when he's home.

Lego Man

Yesterday Nathaniel built a tower with his big Legos...he'd made a cool one Tuesday afternoon, but took it apart to give Joshua some to build with when he got home from basketball. This was way more impressive since it was almost as tall as he was! Even more impressive is that he built it as part of a "train" and was able to move it slightly!

Sitting Up!

Grace is starting to get all those back muscles strengthened and get her balance and be able to sit up pretty well! Ignore the messy unmade bed in the background...I hadn't gotten to making the bed yesterday morning before Brian & Joshua headed off to school and we took these pictures!

This morning her new thing was to turn over from her tummy to her back. Now once she puts together that she can turn from back to tummy and then from tummy to back, there will be no stopping her!

March Madness!

And I'm not talking about basketball! We've had some wild and weird weather the past few days...Monday we had hail...

It was bouncing pretty good!

This is up under the porch roof...it was coming down hard. Found out from Joshua later that they'd been out for recess when it started coming down...he said it sounded like fireworks as it hit the hood of his jacket.

And then last night this is what we got...thankfully it should be gone later today, it's already starting to melt.

Deer tracks in the front yard...no, this isn't a rare occurence...it would be a rare (and blessed) occurence to NOT have the deer in the yard or driveway
