FANTASTIC!!

Fantastic is Nathaniel's word today...he's been saying it all afternoon...and it describes him quite well...he's FANTASTIC!!

He wasn't mad - and he wasn't caught where he shouldn't be...he was just trying out the baby seat...and was upset with me because I used the old camera, not the new camera!

On 10-23 it was Mole Day for Daddy's chemistry class and they had a potluck. We got to go (except Joshua, he had to go to school)...we got to see where Daddy has his classes and visit Grandpa in his office...afterwards, Nathaniel "read" a Curious George book to Grace.

Our football player...Joshua

I haven't had a chance to put up pictures of Joshua from flag football...or his Rockin' with Respect awards. He brings home a copy and a copy gets put up on the bulletin board in the hall at the school. His first one was for helping a teacher's aide learn how to navigate the accelerated reading program on the computer. His second one was for being considerate to a classmate that had gotten hurt on the playground.

November - Grace

Here are some pictures of Grace from the past month...
Grace's First Thanksgiving...and the only pictures I took on Thanksgiving this year!

She was smiling at Daddy today, but quit when I took the camera out...she screamed and then got this cute look on her face when I went to take one more picture. Slightly blurred because the phone rang and I jumped a bit!

Trying out the swing...before it died (did it just wear out, or did the big brothers help it?)

She's just starting to smile...I got this one my cell phone Wednesday to send to Daddy at class

Grace is Two Months Old!

Well, actually now it's two months and one week, but I just haven't had a chance to put pictures up this week...I took these last Saturday. She is now 10 lbs 13 oz...and 22 1/2" - 2 pounds & 2.5 inches since birth.

Halloween...

We had a vampire, a pirate and a pumpkin this year. The pumpkin was not thrilled with the whole thing, and only wore her costume for a short while. Next year will probably be better. The vampire and the pirate were, as usual, very excited for Halloween!

Grace's Blessing Day

Grace received her blessing at church on Sunday, November 1, 2009. She was quiet for the whole thing!
She was blessed by her father and those in the blessing circle with him were her grandfathers, Bruce Hurlbut & Val Lee, and her uncles, Terry Lee, David Matson and Ben Saunders.
She wore the dress specially made for her by her Grandma Lorrayne Hurlbut. Her blanket was knitted by her Great-Grandma Darlene Sheffield.

Our first family photo since Grace's birth...Nathaniel didn't want to look at the camera...
