...it's Joshua with his new glasses!!
Yesterday marked 2 weeks since we'd had our eye exams. We were going back over to Yreka for one of my check-ups and were hoping our new glasses would be in as well. While we were all at the church yesterday morning, the doctor's office called to let us know that "Liz & Josh's" glasses were in. Well, no one by the name of Liz or Josh live here, but we figured out who they meant :)
Joshua was ecstatic. He wanted to stop there first, but I explained to him that Mommy's doctor appointment had a specific time that we had to be there and getting our glasses could happen at any time in the afternoon. Finally we'd taken care of a few errands and it was time...he was practically bouncing into the eye doctor's office. He still thinks they make him look a little like Harry Potter (with blond hair and no scar)...I just think they make him look too grown up! We're having a hard time convincing him that he needs to follow the doctor's instructions and only wear them for far away stuff (TV, chalkboards, etc.) and not all the time or when reading.
